ما هو المودل فورب modal verbs؟ وكيف نستعمله؟
المودلز هي الافعال التي تستخدم مع الأفعال الرئيسية للتعبير عن الإمكانية possibility و السماح permission و النية intention ..الخ, وهذه هي بعض افعال المودلز modal verbs: can, could, might,should, must.
ولا نستعمل أبدا فعل المودل modal مع فعل مودل آخر, بل دائما ما نستعمل المودل في الانجليزية قبل الأفعال الرئيسية main verbs.
جمل إنجليزية تحتوي على المودل فوربز modal verbs:
James can swim very well now
Emma could swim when she was three
It may rain tomorrow
We might see you at the weekend
You should go and see the doctor
You must come straight home
تكوين المودلز modals في الانجليزية:
المودلز في الجمل الإيجابية:
Subject+ modal+ verb
We should go now
You must stay
She can help ud
المودلز في الجمل المنفية:
Subject+ modal+ not or (n't) + verb
We mustn't stay out late
She may not come
استعمال المودلز في الأسئلة:
Modal+ subject+ verb

Must they leave now?

Yes, no+ subject+ modal + (not, n't)

No, she couldn't
